Should i Start michael Bush Or Ryan Torain

Postby NyStateofMind » Wed Oct 06, 2010 7:12 pm

I Have Michael Turner as my #1 RB. Im thinking about putting Ryan Mathews or Mike tolbert as my #2 Rb. I am having a dilemma between starting Bush or Torain as my flex Rb position. Both teams are at home and both starters are injured. I dont know what to do. help! Thanks.

Assuming Mcfadden doesn't play, it's close. I think I might go with Bush, simply because they will probably run more than the Redskins. But it's so close, either one is a fine play this week.

help?

I am having the same problem.

I think its a total toss up.

I wonder about the Chargers just mauling the Raiders and forcing them to throw more but then again the Raiders played them tough last year and who's to say the Packers don't blow up on the Redskins?

Satanahan might mix in Williams or another RB but then again Bush's thumb might be a problem.

Sorry, not much help but I have the same problem this week.

I have both and need to start one next to Arian Foster. I am going to start Torain, just because he has a better matchup. GB has the 26th ranked rush defense and San Diego has 7th ranked. So it's an easy call even though I like Bush...

I think its Torain here, Bush has a good chance here to win his job back, however, I dont think SD is going to help him out any. SD has historically done really well against the Raiders and I think this trend continues. I think the Raiders might be forced to abandon the run. I think the skins should be able to keep it close this week and I'd also expect Torain to get 15-20 carries if not more, Shanahan might decide to run to keep the ball out of the Packers hands.

You know this isn't a terrible problem to have. They both have good value this week! Like I said in my post above as far as matchups versus defense, Torain actually has an advantage.

I wonder about the Chargers just mauling the Raiders and forcing them to throw more but then again the Raiders played them tough last year and who's to say the Packers don't blow up on the Redskins?

Yes this is why I am going to use Torain!

Portis lost his starting job at this point... with a good game this week there will be no doubt. Especially since he is out 4-6 weeks.

I have been struggling with this all week and have finally decided to go with Bush based on this - Shanahan just signed K Williams from the practice squad yesterday (Saturday). Given the fact that Torain tore it up after he was signed from the practice squad less than 48 hours before game time, Torain's injury history, Shanahans use of RBBCs and the fact that Shanagan is a sneak little sh*t, I have a feeling that this could be an even split down the middle between Torain and Williams today.

Michael Bush meanwhile has absolutely no one to split carries with.

K Williams signed from practice squad = trouble or, at best, uncertainty.

I am now starting Bush of Torain....for what it's worth.

I am now leaning towards Torain. Barnett is out and GB has not been that good against the run.
