couple of trade scenarios I could use help with. 100% WHIR

3-1 team, but desperate need for a WR1. You can see my team below. Fortunate to grab Torain last week and am looking to flip a RB. Here are a coupel scenarios out there.

Torain for Randy Moss straight up? (Moss 9 catches in 4 games...WTF?)

Torain/Celek/Steve Smith (Giants) for Hakeem Nicks (is Nicks a #1?) and Jermical Finley?

Torain/Steve Smith for Reggie Wayne?

I could keep Torain as my flex and try to flip Ray Rice/Steve Smith for Miles Austin and Randy Moss.

Thanks, link yours and I'll respond.

RB -Adrian Peterson
WR-Steve Smith (Giants)
WR-Welker
TE- Celek
WR/RB - Ray Rice

I wouldn't trade Torain. Portis looks to be out for maybe the long haul.

Thanks for feedback, but not trying to trade Torain (or another RB) is not an option for me. I want to make my starting lineup better and need a WR upgrade. I'm not going to start Torain over Arian, Peterson, or RIce, so sitting him on my bench isn't helping me.

Ah tough call then. It could be wise to let him play a game and see if his value rises. You may be able to trade him for higher value then. I guess though if he has a bad game then you lose all that hype.

I don't know about the Moss trade. Too many teams might double cover. I like Nicks and Finley. Love having Finley on my team, and for now Eli isn't hooking up too well with Smith.

I like your last idea about keeping Torain though. I wonder if the guy in my league with Torain would consider trading for Tate..

Torain/Smith for Wayne looks like a pretty good option for you. Previous poster is right however, you should wait a game to see how much Torain's stock rises. I would love to have Wayne on my team....

If you can do the first trade, I would do it. moss would be raring to go and favre is a gunslinger, most suited for Moss.
Nicks and Finley is an upgrade over your package. I think Nicks seems to have overtaken S. Smith, especially in the non-ppr league.
I would also do the third trade. But it doesn't give u a clear upgrade on WR (s. smith and nicks could flipflop any given day).

In order of preference, Option 1>Option3>Option2

Thanks for your help.
