D Jax for LT or Deangelo Williams?? WHIR

Postby nygrenes » Thu Oct 07, 2010 1:21 pm

I got offered either LT or Deangelo Williams for Desean Jackson. I am stronger at WR than RB, but I'm worried LT doesn't continue to post the same type of numbers. But, if Vick misses several games Jackson's stats may suffer. If not D Jax, is there another trade possibility for LT. It's .5ppr, 10yds rush/rec/pt, 4pts/pass td.
Start 1QB, 3RB/WR, 1 WR/TE, 1TE, 1 FLEX (any off. player), 1K, 1DEF

Mine:
QB Brees, Manning
RB Best, Hillis, Forsett
WR Austin, D Jax, S. Moss, R. Moss, J. Knox
TE Gonzo, Mercedes Lewis

Leave link and I'll help with yours.

You play 3 RBs? Just want to make sure we're talking about a RB you would play. Even with the struggles, I like Williams a little more. If Carolina has any chance, they need to get Williams going. But it's close. I can see ppl saying LT is more valuable. Have you tried shopping Jax and this is the best you can get? I understand the concerns with Vick, but it's not like Jax needs a lot of room. He can take a slant and go 70 yards. Anyway, if you would play the RB, I can see trading Jax for a RB and those are 2 good ones. I think they will both get a lot of carries. I just think Williams will come around. But if you took LT, I can't argue with that.

I like LT a little bit more than deangelo. He seems to be healthy and got a lot left in the tank. But I would probably do either trade for djax

I think LT will have a better year than D-Will. The trade gives you some options for your lineup. I think you should do it.
