I would do it. Here is why -
You trade WR depth and get a good back. Either TJones or Mathews could start over RBrown depending on matchups. Manningham is a serviceable backup (could even be better than Sims-Walker this year and Denver spreads it around Royal one, week Gafney, or someone else the next.)
Also, I would still rather have Mathews than Jones.
