Hillis vs. ATL or MBush vs. SD?? WHIR 100%

Postby cnewby » Fri Oct 08, 2010 8:10 am

I have CJohnson as my RB1, but am considering playing MBush instead of Hillis as my RB2. OAK says they will be giving Bush 20-30 touches against a weaker run def in SD whereas Hillis has been great lately and faces a tougher run def in ATL. So who do I go with in my PPR league?? Leave a link.

Tough call, but I think I have to go with Hillis. Two weeks ago he went for 144 yards and a score against the Ravens, and then he followed it up with another 100 yard game and a score against Cincy. That would earn him a starting spot in my book.

I think you are better with Hillis . . . have you seen this guy run? He pounded the Ravens Defense for over 140 yards and 2 tds. He had another open the whoop ass can performance against Cincy last week. I wouldn't say Atlanta's D is that much better.

I would easily consider him a no. 1 back. M.Bush, who we've yet have to see this year because of DMF's performance, is more like a no. 2 option right now.

Of course, you've got to keep tabs on Hillis health.

Good luck!

Definitely Hillis,...

SD's run defense has been tough this year,.. allowing only one rushing TD so far. Atlanta has allowed 2,.. and they have both allowed about 80+ yards rushing per game.
TD 6-12 varies on length, Any reverse role TD is DOUBLE PTS

Run/Rec 50yds=2, 100=4, 150=6, 200=10
Passing 250yds=1, 300=3, 350=4, 400=5, 450=7

FG= 3-12 varies on length.

D/ST sack=1, under 300yds=3 ,INT/FR=1. D/ST TD's are DOUBLE PTS.

not sure if it makes a difference, but:

Peyton Hillis (thigh) will be held out of Friday's practice after popping up on the injury report Thursday.

Coach Eric Mangini assured that Hillis is only getting extra rest and that he should be fine for Sunday's game. This is consistent with a Twitter report by ESPN's Adam Schefter Thursday night that Hillis had developed a muscle strain and should be good to go by Sunday. Hillis owners can pick up Jerome Harrison as an insurance policy if a roster spot is available, but it certainly appears likely that Hillis will start. Oct. 8 - 10:42 am et

I'd go with Bush. I don't think Hillis is going to see that much action today. I have him too, but benched him for this week.

I don't know if you can go wrong either way. I think both are going to get the majority of touches. If it were me, I'd go with the proven guy thus far this season, Hillis. But, Bush should have a decent game.

Help me?
