Help at QB. WHIR

Postby joegoody41 » Fri Oct 08, 2010 9:51 am

With Vick out again, who should I start at QB?

Pick 1:
Orton @ BAL
Kolb @ SF
Fitzpatrick vs. JAX (WW)
Hill vs. STL (WW)
Bradford @ DET (WW)

Orton has been on fire and with Moreno still out, Denver will continue to go with the pass, but the matchup is terrible. Every QB that has faced BAL this season has put up a poor performance (though it can be argued that Palmer and Sanchez are the only legit starters they've faced). Kolb didn't look very strong last week, but the matchup is decent. Fitz has an excellent matchup, and has looked good from a fantasy perspective, but he's still on the Bills. Hill has been productive, but the STL defense has actually played pretty well. Bradford has looked decent, but is playing on the road.

Also, I'm not sure I'd like to dump anyone just yet, so the preference would be to not hit the WW, unless one of those guys would clearly be better than Kolb or Orton.

Thoughts?

I am rolling the dice on Fitz this week but that is because Cutler is out.

I think you either stick with Orton or go Fitz. I read that Jax has allowed at least 290 pass yards every game this year and Fitz did pretty well against a tough NY Jets team.

Help me please:

Given your situation, I might just roll with Orton. Sure, tough match-up, but he's been throwing a ton and will have to throw a ton against B_more because they are going to stop what little running game Denver has.

He won't have a huge game, but I bet he comes through with a touchdown pass. 7-10 points or so would be my guess.

Thanks for the help. id go with Hill vs StL. Those are two struggling teams who will put up some points.

I'd go with Hill. The Lions are at home and Hill has thrown for something like 900 yards in his last 3 games. Thoughts on mine?:
