Trade for Peyton... not Hillis

Postby GeneralTsou » Fri Oct 08, 2010 2:52 pm

Would you trade Kyle Orton and LaDainian Tomlinson for Peyton Manning?

I also have Vick, Sanchez, and Favre (don't ask why I have 4 QBs)

That would still leave me with M. Turner, A. Foster, P. Thomas, and A. Bradshaw at RB

This would allow me to drop 2 QBs for depth at WR/RB.

Peyton is a much better/reliable QB than Orton but I think Orton is capable of putting up Peyton Manning-type numbers, so I would just be giving away L.T.

Am I wrong?

I don't think that would get you Peyton. If it would, I would do the deal. The thing about Peyton is he is probably the most consistant scoring fantasy QB. The only worry I ever have about him is if he sits at the end of the season.

normally I would agree with you about the sitting at the end of the season, but at 2-2 with lots of competition in the AFC I would say that is less likely than in past seasons.

I agree, but that is what I was saying. I don't have any concern about Peyton except the sitting and I doubt that will happen this year, or if it does it won't be 2 or 3 games as in years past when he has played the first half and then sits.
