Smith (CAR) Quick Question....Please Help

Unbelievably, Steve Smith (CAR) has been on waivers in my league for the last 2 days as was Jason Snelling. Since I was in the 9th position in the waiver order today, I never thought I'd get either. Regardless, I had a claim in on both with Snelling my first priority. Anyway, I got him and Smith was left there by his lonesome.

I still think he's too good of a talent to leave on the wire regardless who the QB is, and I'm wondering if I should go after him. Here is my roster:

QB Eli and Favre
RB Charles, Tomlinson, Forte, Greene, Snelling
WR Andre Johnson, Randy Moss, Malcom Floyd, Johnny Knox
TE JerMichael Finley

Who can I drop to go after him. Or, should I sit tight? Other than Knox, I can't think of anyone else. And he's definitely in the better position as far as QBs are concerned (not including this week).

Let him sit there. He's hurt and he has a garbage QB. Both of those are the makings of terrible year.

Don't be fooled by the name. A banged up receiver with a terrible QB isn't worth much, and certainly not worth more than any of the players currently on your roster. I agree, let him become someone else's case of agita.
