trade Rodgers for Ryan?

Postby sullymichaels » Sat Oct 09, 2010 11:31 am

should I trade Rodgers (qb-gb) for Ryan (qb-atl)? I also have Ben Roth
I'm thinking about improving my flex players along with the trade.

I like my WR depth (Wayne, Jennings, Wallace) not so much (Johnson, Hey-Bey)
who do I target to package with such a trade? DWillimas seems obvious but he might not depart with his top RB & I think DWillimas will be worn down by playoffs. STAND PAT?

his team (non-qb)
DeAngelo Williams, Car RB
Ahmad Bradshaw, NYG RB
Ryan Torain, Was RB
Darren McFadden*, Oak RB
Austin Collie, Ind WR Q
Hakeem Nicks, NYG WR
Dallas Clark, Ind TE
Vincent Jackson, SD WR
Roy E. Williams, Dal WR
Aaron Hernandez, NE TE

mine:
Ben Roethlisberger, Pit QB [
Joseph Addai, Ind RB Q
Reggie Bush*, NO RB
Jason Snelling, Atl RB
Marshawn Lynch, Sea RB
Reggie Wayne, Ind WR P
Mike Wallace, Pit WR
Greg Jennings, GB WR
Darrius Heyward-Bey, Oak WR
Steve Johnson, Buf WR
Jason Witten, Dal TE P

D/ST Chargers D/ST, SD D/ST
my team (we play Q, R, W, 3 flex, TE, K, Def - 5 bench slots)
Q: Eli & Cutler
W: Rdy White, A. Jeffrey, D. Bess, R. Meachum, J. Nelson,
R: I. Redman, M. Leshoure, B. Powell, C. Johnson (sux)
T: V Davis
K: Gould
D: NYG

You could use Rodgers for a solid RB. Look to see the team with the weakest QB then offer Rodgers or Big Ben for one of their RBs. You could easily get a top guy for Rodgers.

Rodger was a 1st or 2nd rd pick.......He will come around. If I were going to trade him I would want alot more than Ryan.

agreed - thank - I was hoping I'd get some RB strength but not sure there is much there to offer. looking elsewhere with dealing BRoth instead.

Try and offer Big Ben for Bradshaw. I like Bradshaw more than DWill anyways. Jonathan Stewart takes some touches away and DWill's QB doesn't help him at all. Bradshaw is a stud and Jacobs won't take any time form him. Eli forces defenses not to put 8 in the box.

I think you def. need some RB help, but I would hate to part with Rogers. Dude is and will remain a top 3 QB through the season.

None of his guys are worth parting with Rogers for. If you could work a deal for Ben and gut an RB like Bradshaw I would do it. But you will probably need Ben to play a good game 1st. See what you can work out, but the probalem is that Ben's value won't go up until after he starts pplaying, which means you have to wait 2 weeks and see what Roethlisberger does.
