I could use a good WR3 and the other guy needs help at RB.

I get: S. Holmes
I give: M. Bush & S. Smith (CAR)

here's my roster:

12-team, .5pt per reception
QB: Cutler, Vick, Hill
RB: Gore, Hillis, M. Bush, Fred Jackson
WR: Fitz, Jennings, Crabtree, M. WIlliams (TB), Dez Bryant, S. Smith (CAR)
TE: Hernandez
K: Prater
D:
Scoring: 10yds rush/rec = 1pt, 25yds pass = 1pt, TD = 6pts, fumble/int. = -2pts

Should I make this move? or stick with what I got?

hmmmm. Would this move be effective for tomorrow? If yes, I think I'd hold off as I think Bush will be great and I wouldn't feel comfortable starting Holmes right away. I know that Smith is out, but I bet you can find a decent replacement out there. If the move is for the following week, I think I'd take it as Holmes should become a very nice option as the season progresses and I really am beginning to think that Smith is done.

I agree with plapre3. If this will go into effect for week 6 not week 5 then definitely take the deal. That is unless you are very weak at RB. Santonio is going to have some major value as a WR as the year progresses. Remember the guy was superbowl MVP at one point.

my roster is listed, so while I'm ok @ RB, I'm not all that deep.

this trade would go into effect tomorrow

but here's my dilemma, I don't have a DST, so I need to pick one up or my roster is invalid. SO, I'll have to either drop a WR or make a 2-for-1 trade.

All that being said, I'll prob be starting Gore & Hillis at RB this week anyway, so am I better off keeping the depth at RB & dropping either Smith or Crabtree OR make this trade and roll with only 3 RB's?

Agreed. I think you do the trade. Was very hesitant as I am bullish on RB and think Bush is gonna be big but looks like you need WR help more than RB. Good luck this week and thanks for answering mine!
