The Patriots’ somewhat surprising decision to trade Randy Moss has opened the door for other wide receivers to step up in his absence, perhaps even a certain rookie third-round selection.  Looks have also become available in St. Louis, where Mark Clayton suffered a season-ending injury, meaning the emergence of a new fantasy option at the [...]

If Gibson is available, I'd snag him. I watched him a lot in preseason with the Eagles before they traded him last season. He's got some Avant-esque traits. Tough hands, knack for going up and making the catch. I imagine he'll have some usage as a WR3, flex play, and maybe some WR2 upside. ;-D

You could add James Jones to this list with Finley out, but if Rodgers can't go, you don't want to play any positional player on GB in week 6.

Quarless also becomes a WW TE pick-up with Finley out.. and I do expect him to have a decent game.

This preseason I wouldve agreed on Gibson except he's been god awful this season. Way too many dropped passes. The rams need to go out and get MSW if the rumors that they're shopping him are true.

Possible sleeper could be Chris Chambers if his finger is good to go. The Texans secondary isn't doing all too well against #2 WR (or anyone for that matter.) Granted Matt Cassel is the suck, but he was average last year and Chambers put up decent numbers in the short time while in KC. If the Texans at home can drop some quick points on the Chiefs they should have to go away from their good ground game and put the ball in the air. Projections if Chambers is healthy with the fingers, 4/60 1TD

Texas against #2 WR 2010:
Pierre Garcon 3/43
Joey Galloway 3/88
Roy Williams 5/117 2TD
Darrius Heyward-Bey 1/2
Hakeem Nicks 12/130 2 TDs, Steve Smith 6/89 1 TD (Whichever you consider the #2)
