Replacement for Finley - WHIR

Postby techman5003 » Tue Oct 12, 2010 8:42 am

Need to replace Finley for 3 to 6 weeks. Several FA choices out there (more than I thought) but some have upcoming byes and I may have to do this again.

Past bye week
Fasano
Moeaki
Shiancoe

Week 6 bye
Gresham

Week 7 bye
Daniels

Week 8 bye
Celek
Heap
Olsen
B Watson

Week 10 bye
Shockey

Leaning towards Moeaki or Shiancoe since they have aready had their bye but I may pickup one of the others and then consider Gresham or Daniels down the road.

My roster:
Start - 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 flex, 1 K, 1 DEF
QB – Jay Cutler, Donovan McNabb, Brett Favre
RB – Steven Jackson, Rashard Mendenhall, CJ Spiller, Donald Brown, Tashard Choice
WR – Miles Austin, Greg Jennings, Percy Harvin, Johnny Knox, Austin Collie
TE - Jermichael Finley
K - Robbie Gould
DEF - 49ers, Tenn

I would pick up Shiancoe he is a top TE that will get TDs now that Moss has opened up the deep route and Favre loves his TE.

Yeah Shiancoe....Moss will pull some coverage and Shiancoe will get more involved. After that Moleaki! Then Celek but only if Kolb s QB.

Yeah, I'd rank that:

Shiancoe
Moeaki
Daniels

In a few weeks, I'd move Daniels up that ladder. He's just starting to get back to form, but they'll bring him back slowly. At 100%, Daniels might be the best of the 3.

I like this order. Is Marcedes Lewis (JAX) available? He has gotten 5 TDs so far so that might be another one you may wanna consider. I am targeting him as I, too, own Finley.

Help (is AJ > Lloyd?): viewtopic.php?f=18&t=480067
