Worth sending these...

Postby T Long » Tue Oct 12, 2010 10:56 am

In a 10 team keeper league (5 keepers/yr) I've been thinking about sending these two trades... would they help my team or giving up too much and would they have a chance at being accepted?

I give Pierre Thomas and Dustin Keller
I get DeAngelo Williams (his team needs to replace Finley)

and

I give Pierre Garcon
I get Felix Jones

QB. Tony Romo
WR. Hakeem Nicks
WR. Santana Moss
WR. Mike Williams (TB)
RB. Ray Rice
RB. Arian Foster
TE. Dustin Keller
WR/RB. Pierre Thomas
Bench: Thomas Jones, Dwyance Bowe, Johnny Knox, PIerre Garcon, Vincent Jackson, Kellen Winslow

I'm not sure I would do the first deal. I can't speak for the keeper aspect of it, But I think you are giving too much in Thomas and Keller. Williams may never come around in that horrid offense. I like the second one for you in case Jones continues to be the main guy. Unless the other team is really hurting for a WR, I think he could get better than Garcon for Jones at this point.

help?

QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,

I wouldn't do the first, but I would do the second deal.

Agreeing with the above. I think you're giving too much in the first deal, and I don't think you're giving enough in the second for it to be accepted. However, if you can make the second one happen, that's a good one for you. Good luck!

thanks guys, is there any reciever of mine worth sending that would be better than Garcon, and if I changed Keller to Winslow would that make the first deal any better or still say no to that one...

would it be realistic to give Pierre Thomas and Dustin Keller for either Steven Jackson or Jamal Charles, their owner has Aaron Hernandez and Shancoe at TE

No to the first, yes to the second.
