Nicks for Colston & Pitt D?

Postby Team Gooch » Tue Oct 12, 2010 12:21 pm

I have a bye week conflict week 8 so I need to make a move. I give up Nicks for Colston & Pitt D/ST. I know Nicks has been on fire but Im solid at WR with Wayne, White & Wallace and would be getting Colston for depth. Plus it would be a huge upgrade at my D/ST position which I have just been playing matchups. Can I get more for Nicks? 10 team league. We start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1RB/WR flex, 1TE, 1K, 1D/ST. Standard yahoo scoring. No ppr

My Roster
QB-Eli Manning, Roethlisberger
RB-Mendenhall, Foster, Turner, Bradshaw
WR-Wayne, White, Nicks, Wallace
TE-Finley(out), Heath Miller
K-Gould
D/ST-49er's

His Roster
QB-Brady, McNabb
RB-Steven Jackson, Fred Jackson, P. Thomas, Chris Ivory
WR-Collie, Colston, Roy Williams
TE-Shockey, Witten
K-Buehler
D/ST-Pitt, Phil

or should I try to get Gore & Welker for Nicks and Turner from another owner?

I'd wait and see what Mike Wallace does. I've got a feeling he might be fairly productive. He might not set the world on fire fantasy points-wise, but something tells me he'll produce. It's only week 5 so see what happens. I wouldn't be giving up Nicks for Colston, as the New Orleans offense has simply too many receivers and RBs for anybody to be truly valuable in Fantasy (except for Drew Brees ofcourse).

Considering the quality of your team otherwise I'd just keep on playing match ups for DEF. I wouldn't give up Nicks for a DEF. Maybe see what Walker does this week and try and move him instead if anything.
