Torain for Harvin or Britt? WHIR

Postby AngryLionsFAn » Tue Oct 12, 2010 2:50 pm

I have GREAT RB depth on my team this year but I’m watching my No. 3 WR go up and down quite a bit, so I’m thinking about selling High on Torain since I really don’t need him at this point. There’s one owner who has tons of WR depth, and poor RB depth right now. See Rosters Below

My Team

Orton, Eli, Kolb
Gore, MJD, Pierre Thomas, Hillis, Fred Jackson, Torain
Roddy White, Floyd, Collie, Knox, MSW, Jacoby Jones
Celek, Olsen
Steelers
Matt Bryant

His Team

Schaub, Cassell
Jackson, Addai, Darby, Sproles, Cadillac
Boldin, Ochocinco, Steve Smith NYG, Britt, Harvin, Walter, Mike Williams SEA, Roy Williams
Gonzalez, H. Miller
Janikowski
Saints

Since Addai is out and Sproles and Caddy aren’t good options for him at all, I’m thinking of offering him Torain for a WR.

If you had to rely on Sproles or Caddy right now would you give up Harvin or Britt for Torain?

Is Harvin for Torain good enough for both parties?

I dont think Harvin or Britt will solve your WR3 problem as they will just as likely have up & down weeks also, but, I do like Harvin a little more than a couple of your other guys. He could use another RB so I would offer him Torain for Harvin. Now with Moss back in Minnesota, it should open things up more for Harvin as we seen last night.

Good analysis. ;-D

Harvin is a legit WR3 and even a WR2 for many squads. My only worry is Favre breaking down towards the end of the year. But Harvin is a guy that can help get you to the playoffs, and therefore makes Harvin for Torain a good deal for your squad.

I agree with this as well as Harvin is the better choice and giving up Torain might be luring enough as he needs RBs and Portis is out for another 3-5 weeks.
