I always seen to pick the wrong running backs. Last week I left both Forte and LT on my bench and missed out on a lot of points, but luckily I still won. I play in a 12 team non-ppr yahoo standard scoring league. My roster is below players in bold are planned starters. Which of the 4 RBs do I play? We play QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, DEF, K, AND IDP. Leave a link and I will help out in return.
QB: Romo, Palmer RBs: J. Charles (@ HOU), Matt Forte (SEA), Ryan Torrain (IND), LT (@ DEN) WRs: A. Johnson, Miles Austin, Brandon Tate, Brandon Lloyd, Davone Bess TE: J. Finley(out 3-6 weeks), Visanthe Shiancoe K: Neil Rackers DEF: Chicago IDP: Ray Lewis
I'd lean to Charles and LT. Charles looks like he's won the coaches over and LT just looks like a stud right now. Not quite sold yet on Torain especially in a game they may be playing from behind.
Torain and LT I'd say. LT is a must start and doesn't have a terrible matchup. Torain has a good matchup and has shown that he's the every down back in that offense. I don't like Charles' matchup really. HOU has been fairly solid against the run and he's splitting carries. And Forte is just too hit or miss. If you really think Forte will go off then maybe bench Torain but I probably wouldn't.
I would wait to see if Cutler is playing before I pick forte. If he isn't they are just gonna focus on stopping the run. I would go with LT and Charles. I think they are going to start giving him the ball more just like last week.
If Cutler is playing though I'd be really tempted to put Forte in for Charles. Charles got the majority of the work last week, but he is still in some sort of a timeshare situation whereas Forte will get his touches no matter what.
