Need help quick! Big trade, WHIR!

Postby Cubsfan2803 » Tue Oct 12, 2010 10:07 pm

My Boldin, Finley, Royal for his Ray Rice, Chris Cooley.

This is a 12 man ppr league.

my roster
Rodgers
Boldin/Fitz/Ward
P. Thomas/Bradshaw
Finley
Rackers
Eagles

Lloyd/Brandon tate/Royal/Edelman
Torain/BJGE

Obviously I need a TE, I'm not too sure though if it is better to wait this out and not hurt my WR corps, or to take a hit there, and upgrade for RB and a replacement TE so I dont need to deal with more injuries. Other injuries on my team are a rod and pt.

Drop a link and I WHIR! Thanks!

I'd rather trade Fitz than Boldin, but if he won't go for that then I think you have a solid deal to upgrade your RB core

I agree with Fins...try Fitz, Finley, Royal and see if they bite!

I like Thomas when he gets healthy (though Ivory may vulture some TDs) and Bradshaw's not a bad option at all.

If Finley is only going to be out for 3 weeks, I wouldn't do the deal. He's just that much better than Cooley and you wouldn't need to rely on weaker options at WR.

A little help please:

I don't think he will, should I pull the trigger? I had to fight hard to get here already.

I'm think of after this trying to trade bradeshaw and ward for a better WR if I do accept this.

It's a tough call, but if he is out for longer, then I probably would do it. You don't have another TE option (is either NE TE on the WW? I'd grab them)

It also depends on what WR you can get for Bradshaw and Ward, but it is a pretty fair deal.

I believe in Lloyd, so I would do this. It's a risk if Finley comes back strong, but Cooley is solid, and Rice is a stud. Worst case, you flip a RB for a WR.

Thanks for the help on mine.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook

Thanks for the help on mine.

I wouldn't do it...Boldin is too good and so is Finley. Finley is a crap ton better than Cooley...I'm sure you can find someone on WW to fill in until Finley is back. To me you lose too much at WR here...not sure why Lloyd isn't in your starting lineup. Sure you have mediocre RBs, but you make up for it at WR and your TE is amazing.
