Another week 6 QB dilemma.... Leave your link

Postby zippytrash » Wed Oct 13, 2010 6:21 am

Vick isn't starting, and I don't necessarily trust Cutler just yet, so I am left to the WW to fill the void. Available are a bunch of tasty matchups by some not-so-inspiring options.

I got lucky on S. Hill this past week, but I don't dare start him against the nasty Giant defense.
So here's who is left:
V. Young (@Jac) - great matchup, but he doesn't normally get great #'s
M. Cassell (@Hou) - another great matchup, but he's nothing special
D. Garrard (Ten) - getting it done so far, but I don't like the matchup
M. Sanchez (@Den) - not sure about the matchup, and we all know how we feel about starting him.
J. Freeman (NO) - NO defense is pretty good, and I think he is the next break-out QB... but not necessarily this week.

whaddya think? oh, and we get 6pts a TD including passing so we're kinda TD heavy.

Leave you link, and I will get you back.
12 team, 0.5 PPR, 10yds rush/rec, 25 pass yd, 6 point TDs
1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1WR/RB/TE, 1K, 1DEF/ST
QB: Vick, Freeman
WR: Marshall, Gaffney, Amendola, N.Washington, VJax
RB: Peterson, Foster, Charles, Portis
TE: Keller,
DEF: MIN

I would go with Vince Young against that horrible Jacksonville secondary! That is really tuff pick, I hope you get some more feedback!

Tough call between Young or Cassel. Both defenses they are playing are giving up a lot through the air. Houston is worse though. Cassel might be more likely to throw more I think(I think HOU bounces back here) and has the slightly better matchup so I'd probably roll with him.

I'd go with Sanchez. Denver is almost as bad as Houston against the QB and Sanchez has the weapons and potential for a big week. Sanchez is your man this week.

I think I'll make the decision even tougher for you and go with Freeman.

He's putting up solid consistent numbers every week, aside from the 1 week when he faced the tough Steelers defense. The Saints secondary is banged up and I don't think they are as good as they seem regardless. Just look at who they've been playing against, Max Hall and Jimmy Clausen.

Young is too inconsistent and with CJ back there they may not need to throw much. Cassell is also on a run-first offense, with a good defense so I don't see them falling behind and being forced to throw. Garrard, well, no. I also expect the Jets to run alot (as usual) making Sanchez not a reliable play either.

Freeman, he's not going to hit you a home run, but he will put up solid numbers.

That is a tough decision. I think you go with Vince young though as he has a good matchup.
