I am off the worst start I've ever had with a 1-4 record in my 14-team redraft league. I've got a ton of underachievers (Bowe, MJD, Flacco, NYG Steve Smith, Stafford, Reggie Bush).
After deciding it was too late to keep waiting on these guys to produce, I just got this trade done:
I get: Randy Moss Matt Ryan Jamaal Charles
I give: Felix Jones Mike Wallace Reggie Bush
Believe it or not, this was offered to me by the guy in first place. I guess he's a big Felix Jones fan and also worried about Moss' production with Favre's ongoing drama/elbow. This is what my team will look like after the trade:
QB: Matt Ryan WR: Roddy White WR: Randy Moss WR: Steve Smith RB: Maurice Jones-Drew RB: Ahmad Bradshaw TE: Zach Miller W/R/T: Jamaal Charles K: Matt Bryant DEF: Cincinnati
BN: Joe Flacco BN: Thomas Jones BN: Lee Evans BN: Dwayne Bowe BN: Matthew Stafford (will drop once this goes through) BN: Oakland D
I love this trade for you, but I don't see any reason at all for the league to veto it. If they do, I'd raise a SERIOUS stink--vetoing should ONLY be used when there is obvious cheating/collusion going on.
(0.5 PPR, 12-team league) QB: Vick, RG3 RB: McFadden, Matthews, K. Smith, R. Williams, M. Goodson WR: Nicks, S. Smith, Britt, LaFell TE: Hernandez, Pitta K: Bironas DEF: Spot start (Cin in wk4)
Oh, and I feel your pain on the Bowe underproduction--his drop just about killed me last week, although at least his coach seems to love him, which leads me to (optimistically) believe he'll pull out of this funk.
Then again, losing both Grant and Kolb in the first week, and then Vick a few weeks later, didn't do much to make me feel great about this year in fantasy.

I'd agree about this not really being veto-able. There's a big difference between questioning people's value of a player and flat out cheating. I think you get the better end of the deal, but I wouldn't say it's ridiculous.
