Tweaking the lineup, need some advice ... WHIR

Postby Warpigs » Wed Oct 13, 2010 7:44 pm

Hey all. In a fairly standard scoring dynasty league. Pretty happy with my lineup, although I'm tempted to tweak the kicker/defense.

I currenty have Rob Bironas and the San Diego chargers. San Diego has some super-great matchups throughout the season, which is why I targeted them for my defense. However, someone dropped the Minnesota Vikings, who have been disappointing and have some really tough matchups ahead. Stick with Chargers, or snag Vikings and hope for best?

Also, with Bironas, was tempted to make a move to pick up the red hot Nick Folk, as the Jets continue to move the ball well enough to get him into the red zone, but not enough to score so many TDs that they make the FG irrelevant. Again, leave well enough alone, or go for Folk?

While these are not the most pressing of fantasy needs, I also want to put myself in teh best position to win week to week.

Thanks
WP

(and I'll definitely help in return)

i think you've got to stay with the chargers D. their schedule is just to good to pass up, plus the home stretch games vs. OAK, SF, KC, CIN are pretty nice. Vikings just lost C.Griffin and their pass rush has been just plain terrible.

As for kicker its really a coin flip. Does your league reward longer kicks? minus for missed kicks? I'd probably stick with Bironas unless you answered no to those two questions

if you get a sec can you relook at my post. I added some key information to further complete my thought. thanks

If you can drop an excess player for Min, do that. I think SD's schedule is good and they should grab you some points, but the Vikes could come back strong if the offense starts doing anything. For the K, stay put. Bironas is fine. And to restate, if you can keep SD and get Min, do it, if not, stay put.

Help?
