Two Trades Offered to Me - WHIR

Postby ukbsktbll » Wed Oct 13, 2010 7:55 pm

Ok these two trades have been offered to me:

My Green-Ellis for Bowe, and T Jones

and

My Green-Ellis and Wayne for his M Turner and K Walter

Now I don't like the first one even though I would be getting two players for one. First being they are on the same team, Bowe has been a bust, and T Jones splits w Charles.
Second one I like Turner he is a definite upgrade, but losing Wayne. Thats a big loss and Turner hasn't been putting up stellar numbers with Snelling in the backfield too. I feel I will send a counter but he has Steve Smith -NYG and Colston which with Turner would not be a fair trade. I am currently 5-0 don't really know how so it won't hurt me too much the week the Colts are on a bye to take a loss. I do need a RB upgrade, but if Green-Ellis and B Jackson start to turn it around I may be ok. Thoughts

14 Team PPR .5 / IDP (QB, 3WR, 2 RB, 1 Flex (WR/RB), TE, K)

QB Rodgers, Flacco
RB J Stewart, L Washington B Jackson C Buckhalter, Benard Scott, Green-Ellis, C Ivory
WR Jennings, Wayne, Sims-Walker, Collie,
TE Clark
K Kaeding

IDPs (DL, DB, 3 DP, LB)
Vanden Bosch, Derrick Johnson, Pollard, Atogwe, Tyvon Branch, Pat Chung, Paul Posluszny, LaMarr Woodley, Keith Ellison,

being that you are really weak at RB and you have Collie, I would do the deal to get Turner. I think that helps your team overall.

True I have collie but he seems to be pushed down to the #3 WR with Garcon coming back

Man did you draft weird or something? How did you end up with those RB's? You need help bad in the RB department, so I would say trade for Turner. Or maybe even look elsewhere. See if you can trade Flacco and one of your weaker recievers like Collie or Sims Walker for a decent RB like Peyton Hillis or McCoy. I think losing Reggie Wayne hurts, but you really need RB help.

Help me with mine:

umm a big resounding no to both of those deals.. Bowe is garbage and T Jones will eventually lose his spot to jamaal charles...Turner and Kevin Walter for BJGE and wayne is a big loss for you too. Kevin Walter is a secondary wr and turner has looked pretty slow this year and looks like he is burning some weed instead. I agree with the last responder, you do need rb help but not at the expense of trading ur best wr for not even a top 10 rb right now.. how bout trading for a different rb and offering flacco with someone like sims walker for a solid rb like hillis or something.

Please help with mine...
