I need to pick up one of these receivers and will probably have to start them the next few weeks. Rank them for a non-ppr format for the rest of the season. I'm having a tough time deciding between them
1) Amendola (guy will get close to 100 catches this year) 2) Britt 3) Garcon (upside of being in Indy) 4) Gaffney
This is close for me as well. If you needed a guy to start this week I would rather start Gaf over Garcon, but if he is going to be on your bench I think Garcon has a higher ceiling.
Non-PPR: Britt > Garcon > Amendola > Gaffney. PPR would be a totally different story.
That 12/95/0 that Amendola put up is his ceiling. A guy with a 9.5 ceiling can't be number 1 on that list. Britt has scored in three straight, is getting more looks each week, and should keep the starting gig even when Gage returns. Garcon is in the Indy offense, so assuming he's healthy, he'll get some deep balls. Gaffney has to share with too many other guys, and Lloyd is the clear #1 there, Royal probably #2. Good luck!
yes, but targets mean he's getting thrown to more then others where he can get TD's.. He's getting a decent number of catches while Clayton was around, I can only imagine that the number would increase. All that being said, I think I'd go with everyone else and say Britt>Garcon>Amendola>Gaffney. Britt as he's looking like the #1 there and he's got big play potential. Garcon has the same big play potential but he's not the #1. Amendola gets lots of looks which should corralate to big yardage, and the red zone target stat I said earlier should lead to more TD's, although it hasnt as of yet. Gaffney has too many other WR's ahead of him, even though Denver chucks it around quite a bit.
