R. Brown & Torain for Bradshaw WHIR

Postby Gibbs En Fuego » Wed Oct 13, 2010 11:54 pm

10 Team League - .1 PPR
Starts: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 FLEX, 1 TE

My team:
RB: Gore, Benson, Brown, Hillis, Torain
WR: M. Austin, Marshall, Welker, Nicks, K. Walter, Amendola
QB: Romo, Henne
TE: Hernandez, Z. Miller

I get Bradshaw, he gets Brown and Torain. Is it worth losing depth to pick up Bradshaw?

I DEFINITELY will help in return.

i wouldnt do that deal ...bradshaws losing goal line snaps to jacobs again and torain will see better days....i expect portis to be out more than 6 weeks ...last player who delt with that injury was out the whole year and portis injury is a complete seperation ...my bet is torain is the starter the rest of the year ....

He never really had a strong hold on goal line carries. I don't think any owners think that's where Bradshaw gets his value from. Jacobs YPC rotoworld blob is gravely misleading since he got it all in garbage time on a beaten up Bears team. Bradshaw is a great RB2. I'm not saying that because I have him. I'm a Jets fan and hate the Giants but when it comes to fantasy I put all prejudices aside, this guy stays healthy you're looking at a top 10 RB. With that being said I love Torain this year but think it's worth it.

Fair but u still would have 4 good backs and Bradshaw is the best one in the deal. You also might be able to find some use for the extra spot you open, dont know

This thread gives me great insight into my own team. I am currently an owner of Ronnie Brown and Ryan Torain too. And I do really like Bradshaw. I'd say do it if you have the RB depth. Bradshaw see's a lot of carries, and Eli takes the pressure off the run with his ability to throw down field. Yes Brandon Jacobs does lurk, but Bradshaw see's over 75% of the carries, and still gets goal line touches.

Can you help me out with mine?:

Do it. You have depth at RB and will be exchanging to mediocre backs for a great one. I like the decision to start Hillis or Bradshaw v. deciding to start Torain, Brown, or Hillis.
