12 team ppr league.. I am pretty thin at RB, pretty much only have MJD, Felix Jones and Beanie Wells.. This trade had been offered to me..
I give: Peyton Manning, Austin Collie
I receive: Jay Cutler, Jahvid Best, Larry Fitzgerald
Any thoughts? I would be starting R. White, R. Moss and Larry Fitz in my flex spot with MJD and Best as my rbs.. Manning is a beast and Cutler is as streaky as they come, but he can put up a huge game every now and then.. Pull the trigger or hold off on this one?
Please post your whole lineup so people can get a better gage on what you have, but no way I pull the trigger here. You're talking about 2 players in the Top 2 at their positions in Manning and Collie. No way you should unload them both, especially for that return. Fitzgerald is worth little to nothing at this point. Id' be happy to unload him just so I don't have to go through the bench/start scenario with him every dam week. You should be doing pretty good with Manning, Collie and White. White alone should net you a RB2 and WR2 if you really need it, but I think you maybe need to make a smaller move and keep your core. Hard to say without seeing your team though.
I say no... I hate Cutler as a fantasy QB... Peyton is top 3. Best will slow down in my opinion and the WR are toss up... what else does the other guy have HELP ME viewtopic.php?t=480622
12 Team 4 player keeper no strings. Standard roster/scoring except can start TE at flex QB Stafford, Kaepernick RB Foster, McFadden, SJax, Moreno, B. Tate WR D. Thomas, Nicks, D. Moore, Maclin, A. Brown TE M. Bennett K Jani D Lions, Dolphins
I think Collie's value is going down with Garcon back so that was one reason I was considering this.. Also, I would finally have 2 decent rb's on my team.. Im leaning towards declining, just wanted to get any more last minute insight.. Anyone?
I wouldnt do it, just because cutler is so inconsistent that having petyon is such a valuable asset. I agree about collie's value peaking, but i think he will be consistently good and i worry about best maintaining what he has done so far.
