Postby AlaskanViking » Thu Oct 14, 2010 12:18 pm

Austin Collie has been good so far, but with his foot injury, bye week coming up and Garcon healthy should I drop him and pick up Crabtree?

I'm in an ESPN 10 man legue

Starters are-

QB-Brady
RB-Gore
RB-L. McCoy
RB/WR-J. Charles
WR-A. Johnson
WR-Harvin
TE-Gates
K-Janikowski

Bench-

QB-Roethlisberger
RB-Best
WR-Maclin
WR-Collie
TE-Zack Miller
K-Nugent

Thanks and I WHIR

Why not, you're team is loaded. It looks like you've got a few byes out of the way with Charles and Harvin, so your flex will always be fine. I like the way Crabtree is playing with new OC. But it really doesn't matter with a squad like that.

I wouldn't do it. Manning loves Collie and the 49ers are a mess. They could have a coaching change or change at QB coming soon and that could really hurt Crabtree's production, which so far has been pretty mediocre.

Thanks for the response.

Still not sure if I'm gonna do this. I'm looking for ways to tweak my roster for a late season boost and was thinking with the niners easy upcoming schedule that Crabtree might be the benificiary. I do have Gore though and I generally don't like to stack up players from the same team if possible.

keep Collie, Manning loves him, and they throw it alot. Crabtree had one good week.. Besides you have Big Ben you can move to get depth at other spots, espeicially with Brady already off his bye.

I would keep collie, much more consistent in that offense then anything 49ers
