Another MONSTER trade. Do it?

Postby ZeroPointZero » Thu Oct 14, 2010 2:01 pm

My roster is below... I made an enormous trade a couple of weeks ago, sending M. Vick and A. Foster to get AP on my team. Now working on a second enormous trade. Would you make this move?

I get...
Chris Johnson
Eddie Royal

I give...
Andre Johnson
Peyton Hillis
Wes Welker

Below is the rest of his roster, and mine is in my signature. Is there a better counteroffer you can think of? I feel like I'm giving up just a tad too much, but I do get a roster spot out of the deal. I would have to pick up a WR from waivers, and there isn't much available. Nate Burleson and that's it.

The rest of his roster...
QB: Palmer, Favre
WR: G. Jennings, M. Crabtree
RB: B. Wells, Snelling, M. Barber, C. Buckhalter, BJGE
TE: V. Davis, H. Miller
12 team H2H league, standard scoring, no PPR.
QB: Cutler, Kitna
RB: All Day AP, CJ2K, F.Jax, R.Brown, S. Greene, Dixon
WR: G. Jennings, Roy Williams, M. Williams (sea)
TE: J. Tamme
Def: Denver
K: Hartley, Carpenter

I'd basically be starting Bess and Royal all the time, probably. We do get punt return TD's, but that only happens when I bench the player.
But holy crap I would be the RB God of our league.
Is Hillis a "sell high"?
Will Welker a sell high too? Covered all the time with no Moss?

What an enormous trade.

LOL-

You are a top RB hoarder as well I see....and honestly it is a strong strategy BUT I feel you are just too thin at WR. If you had just snagged a few more WW WR's I'd say do it, but Burelson as the best free agent? There is no one on wire and you'd then have no one!

Is Hillis goign to keep performing is a huge question and I'm glad you asked it. Plus, something is wrong in Houston I feel so trading Andre maybe isn't that big of a deal. My holdup is that your WR corp is REALLY thin. In the trade you helped me with I still have Gaffney, Steve Smith-CAR, JKnox, Santana Moss, etc to play around with. you have no one as you know.....

I feel it is just a tad too much BUT I wouldn't judge you if you did it at all. Having the top 2 RB's on your team is pretty solid....
