WR roster help

Postby Thor » Thu Oct 14, 2010 3:01 pm

My team in signature below.

Probably without Megatron this week, and definitely without Megatron and Holmes due to byes next week.

That leaves me to start what is left.

Do I roll with Lance Moore and Devone Bess or do I drop one or both and pick up Mike Williams(TB) and/or Danny Amendola?

Williams has been solid but he is paying the #1 defnse vs WR's this week in New Orleans.
I think he's better longterm, but do I grab him this week before he's gone and just hope he puts up decent numbers this week and next.

I think Bess and Amendola are interchangeable for me being our scoring is PPR.

The Bucs' website calls Mike Williams (foot strain) "day to day" after he was held out of Thursday's practice.
There's no word yet on a possible setback, but it's a concern that he was at least able to put in a limited practice on Wednesday. We won't have a good read on his status for Sunday's game until Friday's practice report.

mike williams might be out, plus bucs will probable gonna have a gameplan to run on the saints.

I'd start lance more and amendola

I don't like Lance Moore, but matchup wise he has a chance against TB. I've seen Tampa get burned multiple times this year. Bess and Amendola are pretty much the same thing.. solid PPR numbers. You are right about Williams being the best longterm option. I would definitely roll with at least one of Bess and Amendola for some consistency. Then it depends on how your team stands imo. Where are you in the standings? How are the rosters of the people you are playing these next two weeks? Can you afford to take a chance with Williams or Moore or do you need more consistency with Amendola and Bess? You'll have to watch the injury report, but without knowing your situation I like Bess/Amendola and Mike Williams. I really like Mike Williams for the longterm. It might take a few more weeks, but Freeman throws it up to him pretty often from what I've seen and he is very talented.
