Floyd or Britt? WHIR

Postby BearsFan65 » Thu Oct 14, 2010 3:04 pm

PPR scoring, 15 rec yds = 1 pt. White and Austin at WR1 and WR2, I need a WR3 from:

Malcom Floyd @ STL
Kenny Britt @ JAX

Floyd had a monster game last week (8/213/1), but Britt is up against that horrible JAX secondary and has TD's in three straight weeks (and Gage is out again). Leaning toward Floyd, mainly because SD should throw more than they run. I worry that if the game isn't close, there won't be much throwing in the second half. I snagged Britt for bye weeks and depth, now I'm wondering if I should start him. Who would you go with? WHIR, thanks!

I'm having the same problem trying to choose Britt over other recievers.

When in doubt, I always like the Monday night players. I think Britt is going to blow up this week vs a terrible Jac. defense.

Jacksonville has 29th ranked pass D and has allowed 12 passing TD's. Britt is due to have a huge game. I'd go with Britt. Another reason is this:

(Vince) Young believes there are more big plays where those came from, if Britt continues to improve.

"A lot of people fall asleep on the guy," Young said. "He's so explosive. He has great speed. He can run like a horse out there."

Is StL any worse? I would trust Rivers over Young for me so I'd start Floyd. He will come back to earth though.

Stl has the 22nd ranked pass D, andI feel like St. Louis is playing a lot better so anything could happen there. This week in an interview Vince Young said that Britt runs like a horse, and you can tell they are developing a better QB-WR relationship.

"A lot of people fall asleep on the guy," Young said. "He's so explosive. He has great speed. He can run like a horse out there."

WOW this is a tough one. But i'm going to go the other route and say Floyd for a few reasons. The main reason is he has the best QB (statistically) throwing to him. Phillip Rivers is averaging over 300 passing yards a game. I don't think St Louis is going to be able to stop them. I really like Britt, but lets not forget how up and down VY has been. As of late he has looked good, and he looked great throwing the ball down field last week, but there is a chance VY could have one of his off nights. With Floyd, you know what your going to get. Floyd is going to get his yards.

Britt is not very good, poor work ethic. he question you should ask yourself is, Rivers or Young? You know the answer, so go with Floyd.
