I think you said it right. You might have paid too much, but you got a #1 RB. AD shouldn't let you down. It would have been nice to keep Charles, but you have a nice WR core. You probably should look to make a move for another RB because I think you'll be scrambling to fill your RB2 slot each week. I don't have too much confidence in Lynch or Seattle's running game.
I think you gave up too much as well. Floyd has been amazing this year and Maclin only decent. Lynch is a prospect at this point and Forte and Charles have both been decent.
I would have done the same thing you did. Forte will always be a hit or a miss and he will always run below the league avg in YPC. J.Charles has a great schedule and is a great RB, but isn't a workhorse like AP. I would have without a doubt given up both for AP. Floyd is at the peak of his season, I think he's a sell high, Starting week 12, V.Jax is back in the picture.
I fully believe Lynch will be a "Forte" equivalent. He is a beast and will take over feature back duties. Maclin is gonna do good enough whether Vick is in the picture or not, he'll never be a D.Jax, but is serviceable. The fact that you came out of this trade with an elite RB1, potential RB2, and WR3 by giving up 2 RB2s and an WR2 with upside, I feel, you win overall.
I think it was a pretty good deal. Forte is going to have big pt. swings from week to week, while ADP is going to be consistently bad-ass. I like Floyd, but if VJAX comes back in a couple of weeks, then that's going to take his production down a notch. Don't like Lynch as a weekly #2, but if Bush comes back soon, then that may help (esp. if it's a ppr).
I have Peterson and I'd love to be given that deal. I think you spent a lot and also I don't really understand your reasoning from it, sorry. I just can't see Peterson/Lynch being a better duo than Charles/Forte, not by a long shot. Also you gave up two RBs whose value increases a decent amount in PPR. Then you also gave up a WR3 maybe WR2 in Floyd. I guess you have Peterson, probably the best back at the end of the year so at least you have that but I'd work on fixing some stuff now. You shouldn't trust Lynch as an every week RB, you need to do something to fix that part. You have WR depth try and do something to get another RB.
