Orton for McCoy

Postby indyandrew » Thu Oct 14, 2010 5:55 pm

Wondering if I should propose trading Kyle Orton for LeSean McCoy. Turner hasn't been doing that great so far as my #2.
I could also try for McCoy and Schaub for Orton and One of my other RB's.
But my teams doing good so far, I've got the most PF in the league, so I don't know if I should just not try to fix what isn't broken.

My Team
--------------------------------------------------------
QB - Philip Rivers, Kyle Orton
RB - Adrian Peterson, Michael Turner, BenJarvus Green-Ellis, Pierre Thomas, Marshawn Lynch
WR - Malcom Floyd, Brandon Lloyd, DeSean Jackson, Sidney Rice
TE - Zach Miller
K - Matt Prater
D - New Orleans
-----------------------------------------
10 Team - H2H - Standard Scoring - NonPPR
1QB-2RB-2WR-1TE-1K-1D/ST

Your team looks pretty solid to me. I don't think you need McCoy. Turner will come around and Thomas will get healthy. You might look to upgrade your D. New Orleans is iffy at best.

help with mine?

Dont think you need help at RB, if it were me I would be looking to add a stud WR. Orton has been great, someone in need of a QB may be willing to give up a solid WR. Shop him around and see what you can get.

Right, I guess I'm just being too impatient with Turner waiting for him to get something going.

As far as D and WR's go I'm basically playing match-ups for my Defense each week. And I feel pretty good with
Lloyd and Floyd at starting WR for now. Up till now they're the #1 and #4 highest scoring receivers in the league.

With the way that Rivers is playing you don't need Orton, he's wasting away on your bench. If you can turn him into another top 10 RB then why not do it. You can always trade Turner to another owner for help somewuere else if you feel you need it but at this point, starting McCoy over Turner in your RB's beats Orton riding your bench behind Rivers.
This aint a NYC auto garage, if it aint broke, dont fix it.

12 team redraft: Rivers (Q1), CJ (R1), McFadden (R2), B Wells (R3), Caddy (R4), Forsett (R5), AJ (W1), Fitz (W2), Royal (W3), Sims-Walker (W4), V Jax (W5), V Davis (T1), Kaeding (K1), Jets (D1)
