Well, there's no denying that Cutler has been extremely productive in Martz's newly installed offensive scheme in Chicago -- with the exception of the Bears' DRUBBING at the hands of the G-men a couple weeks ago, where Jay sustained the injury/concussion that kept him out recently -- and he is "probable" as of this afternoon to suit up and play vs the Seahags. But there still remains a healthy skepticism regarding TE G.Olsen's OWN production going forward, mainly due to Mike Martz's historical indifference to the tight end position in general; Olsen WAS Jay's most targeted receiver last year incidentally... and as for Steeler TE Heath Miller, he has always had his best numbers with Big Ben under center, so one could correctly infer that Miller's numbers can only improve with Ben's return. Now, according to my own league's stats, Seattle is giving up an average of ~17 points to opposing TEs thru 5 weeks, while Cleveland is currently giving up a far stingier 7.5 points to TEs to date... Martz himself couldn't have been more complimentary w/ regard to Olsen's abilities thru training camp and pre-season, but you wouldn't know it judging by Olsen's rather pedestrian stats so far where he is only the 15th best TE in average pts per week. Meanwhile, Heath Miller ranks 33rd among active TEs, but if you believe in the whole "regression/progression to the mean (or average)" theory, one could then argue that Miller's best games are in front of him... this one really comes down to your "gut" feeling I suppose (as these decisions often do) and whether you believe that Olsen will emerge, AT SOME POINT, as Jay's fav or whether or not Ben's presence in the PITT lineup once again will improve Miller's number of targets, and in turn, fantasy stats...I think that Ben is chomping at the bit to get back to throwing the football, and Miller has always been a favorite red-zone target, while Cutler and Olsen are yet to rekindle the chemistry they demonstrated last season... so I'd probably give Miller the nod this week eventhough Cleveland is pretty decent limiting TEs this season bc as we know, the Steeler offense is a much different animal with Roethlisberger under center -- plus I'm looking for PITT to kick the living SNOT out of the hated Browns, a division rival to boot...
