I'm done with Schaub. I can't handle the point swings. I'm not dropping him just yet, but for the next two weeks, who do I go with? I have narrowed it down to V. Young and C. McCoy, and maaaaybe D. Garrard.
So, who do I pickup and play? Or do I run with Schaub AGAIN despite KC's great performance against IND?
Things I'm thinking about: V. Young has JAC which is a plus, but he never throws for more then 200 yards. C. McCoy. It's his debut, and it's against PIT, but it could easily turn into a QB shootout and Hillis is sore. D. Garrard plays TEN again a plus, but just like young, doesn't do much on total yards.
I actually like Garrard of those 3 (though I have Schaub and will be starting him... agree, he's been disappointing, but he's been disappointing for a top-tier QB). He never gets those 350 yd games, but he's solid and consistent. McCoy is too fresh, you need to see what he's got. Young is to inconsistent I think.
Port of the allure of McCoy is that he's new. I have a feeling he could rise to the challenge. Sure he'll throw two picks, but he could also go for 180-200 yrds and two tds.
Of the three I like Young. I have both Young and Schaub on my team and I'm rolling the dice with Young. I think Schaub is either going to be bust (single digit points AGAIN!!) or he'll go off on KC for 300+ and at least 2 TD's. With Young though I think you get JAC stacking the box against Johnson which will open a lot of single coverage and oppportunities for Young to scramble. I think he gets at least one pass TD and one Rush TD ( and in my league Rush TD=6 and Pass TD=4) and I'm pretty sure Schaub won't rush for a TD.
As for Garrard, I had him early in the season and dropped him cuz I couldn't stomach his wekk 2/3 outings.
I would go with VY. JAC is one of the bottom 5 against the past, and that is before trying to stop CJ2K. McCoy will get destryed. Garrard is just not good.

"BUT GARRARD IS A TOP TEN FANTASY QB EVERY YEAR!"
Lol. Sorry, a friend in my league said that last year while picking him up like 6th or 7th round. Had to quote it. He lost.
LOL, I wish I had a few guys like your friend in my league. Garrard actually got called out by a previous teammate for talking about himself like he is an elite QB.
Good luck with VY, I know the guys at yahoo and FFB toolbox are high on him.
