Felix for Fitz? I always WHIR

Postby lafan313 » Mon Oct 18, 2010 2:30 pm

I get Larry Fitzgerald. He gets Felix Jones. My roster is below. I'm fine at RB but could shore up my WR depth. What do you guys think? Fair trade?

10 team Y! League. No PPR. 1 QB, 2 WR, 2 RB, 1 TE, 2 W/R

His team:

QB - Shaub, Garrard
WR - Boldin, M Thomas, Fitz, Branch, Bowe, TO
RB - AP, Lynch, Snelling, P Thomas
TE - Keller, Watson
QB - A Rodgers, E Manning
RB - A Foster, S Jackson, R Mendenhall, T Jones, R Bush
WR - G Jennings, L Fitz, S Smith (Car), P Harvin, V Jackson
TE - A Hernandez, J Tamme

I would do that. You have plenty of cushion w/the RB's you have and Fitz is a great WR

Anyone else have input? How do you guys think Fitzgerald's numbers improve with Hall at QB?

Fitz still gets tons of targets, moreso than most wrs. I dont like him as a stud but surely better than felix jones. The notion of felix jones being the primary back throughout the season is amusing to me
I would do this trade

Fitz would be a great addition to your team if you can pull that deal off. He will still be targeted plenty by Hall and should be able to have some great games along they way. I wouldnt want any of the Cowboy's running backs right now. They are a mess. If I was the other team I wouldnt give up Fitz for Jones though but he does need a RB so maybe he'll go for it. You may have to sweeten the pot a little.

definlty do that deal, your giving up a bench player on your team, for a starter on your team, plus your getting the better player...don't see any way you can't accept this trade.

If this was offered to you, go for it. If you are offering, you'll need to make a nicer deal; he'd be out of his mind to accept this.
