also, whould you trade jermey maclin for desean jackson?? (i'm basically looked twords the playoffs since my team is 5-1, thinking it might be a good move if vick and desean both come back pretty soon) the team i'd be trading with is 0-6, and needs help now more than later

If you had some more WR depth, I'd say pull the trigger. I know it's tempting with Roy E. having a couple of good games, but I don't know how much I trust him yet. In a vacuum, I'd say that Q and Tolbert for Jamaal is a great move, especially with the minor upgrade from Turner to Gore. Maclin's got a bye in week 8 and it's hard to start 2 WRs from the same team. If you're confident that you can get another WR in a trade for one of your other RBs, do it!

Maclin for DeSean is a good trade for you. You get a free week of rest in week 8 and he should be back for week 9 onwards. That hit looked F'in brutal though. Check his status updates as they become available.

i'd just start maclin, or pick-up someone to fill in week 7, i don't mind starting roy and miles for week 8 cus they play the jags, till desean/vick comes back in week 9, hopefully. (my only concern is kolb keeping the job and killing deseans value, cus it seems like he likes maclin more.)

The trade looks inticing at first, but I think it makes your team to uneven afterwards. I think it would make you rather weak and thin at WR and almost too heavy at RB (wasted depth). As much as Turner has been frustrating this season, I'd stick it out with him. Maybe see if you can package Turner and Maclin for Gore or Turner and Maclin for Charles. If you take the deal, your starting WR would be Maclin or Williams, and I know they have had breakout games lately, but I'm not sure if they will be consistent starting WRs. And if you take the trade, that will put Torain on your bench, and I think he will be a good fantasy RB from here on out. I say stick with what you got, or try and make a trade not involving Boldin.

Help me with mine:

I like the trade, but make sure you can fix the balance if you do it. Try to trade both Williams for a WR or see if there's some talent in the WW. The trade is nice, but don't do it if you can't fix your WR corps afterwards.

I would make the Maclin/Jackson trade however. Even with Kolb in, he had 2TDs in the first half this week. I thought the same thing as you about Jackson not being used with Kolb starting, but they used him pretty well.
