Bye week help, drop B. Wells?? WHIR

Postby IIIdazedIII » Tue Oct 19, 2010 10:04 am

I have P. Manning on a bye week this week and need to pick up a quarterback. I am having trouble figuring out who I should drop.

Heres my team, any suggestions would be appreciated. I will help you if you leave a link.
QB P. Manning
RB M. Turner
R Torain
R. Mathews
M. Tolbert
B. Wells
R. Williams
J. Snelling
WR D. Jackson
M. Wallace
S. Holmes
M. Crabtree
S. Holmes
TE T. Moeaki

I am leaning towards dropping J. Snelling (but dont want to lose my handcuff) or Beanie Wells (who hasnt done much yet but should be the starter going forward)

Standard scoring no PPR

I would drop Ricky Williams. Fins have a brutal schedule and in his timeshare, he's not worth much. Snelling and Tolbert have value to you as handcuffs. If you don't want to tie up your roster with 2 handcuffs, then I would cut Snelling, as Tolbert still sees some action and gets the goalline love.

No way do you drop Wells - Snelling, Tolbert, and Williams are all droppable IMO - Williams makes the most sense since you have Mathews & Turner, but I think he's the best back of the 3...

IMO, I'd drop Tolbert - if anything happens to Brown - Williams becomes a good play, if anything happens to Turner, Snelling becomes a good play, SD looks like a whole lotta suck, and if anything happens to Mathews, they won't run enough to make Tolbert startable w/ your other options.

I also agree on dropping Williams, not really doing much, and schedule is brutal.

Id say Ricky or Tolbert as well. Snelling is a possibility but he is very valuable if Turner gets hurt. Ricky would take off if Brown got hurt but thats a big if. Also, Tolbert may have more value simply bc of his TDs.
