Danny Woodhead worth blowing WW1 pickup?

I am now top of my league's waiver list in a 12 team non-PPR league and wondering if I should blow it on Danny Woodhead. Woodhead is WR and RB eligible, making it extra enticing. I've been 2nd on the WW all season, but have patiently waited for the right pick up. Team is 5-1 averaging roughly 140 points a week and currently in first place.

I was hoping Tate would take over for Moss' absence in NE, but obviously that isn't the case.

No. I would not use the #1 WW pick for someone that may never even see my starting lineup. Green-Ellis is there and taylor will be back soon. From your roster I can't see Woodhead ever starting for you. Contine to be patient and wait for someone to make that colossal mistake. trust me, they will.
