I think you gave up too much. AP is awesome, but he's not a Benson better than SJax. PT's injury status is still unclear and with the emergence of Ivory, I think we see a 3HM once PT and Reggie get back. You went from starting SJax, Benson, and Hillis to starting AP, Hillis, and Lynch. Lynch did okay this past week, but only b/c he scored. His YPC was terrible and Forsett ended up with more fantasy points.
Also, TO has been playing really well this season, the #1 receiving option on his team. Gaffney's been better than anyone expected, but he's still the #2 receiving option on that team.
totally depends on hillis and thomas going forward. you got a stud that is arguably a benson better than jackson. jackson is a bit overrated hasnt had monster games. thomas helps alot if he gets healthy and saints get rolling help me! viewtopic.php?t=481586
12 Team 4 player keeper no strings. Standard roster/scoring except can start TE at flex QB Stafford, Kaepernick RB Foster, McFadden, SJax, Moreno, B. Tate WR D. Thomas, Nicks, D. Moore, Maclin, A. Brown TE M. Bennett K Jani D Lions, Dolphins
Sorry to say but the other guy got 3 starters every week and you got 1 out of this trade. I have Sjax39 & Cedric as well and they are my 1 and 2 guys.
Sjax is fantasy money every year. Top 10 RB every year. even with the injuries. This man is the reason the word BEAST is used in reference to RBs. Benson is top 15 all year and almost as solid as Sjax in the consistency dept. (assuming both are healthy as they are)
AP is undisputed best back in all of football, but like the guy earlier said: AP is not Benson (unit of measurement) better than Sjax in Fantasy. Hes not. No one is.
Thomas & Gaffney dont deserve to be in the same sentence let alone trade as the other 4 guys in terms of fantasy production this year.
I dunno, AP though can win you games with a 34 pt blow out and will always score 10-15. I don't see this as grim as everyone else does and I have SJax and don't see him as fantasy gold. 10-20 pts a game keeps you in every game and you will make playoffs, but the point is to win the superbowl and consolidate your good starters into great starters in my opinion.
They have a point that you downgraded dubstantially BUT if and when Pierre Thomas comes back healthy, I think youll be in good shape....
Owens for Gaffney to me is a wash (and I don't think Benson will stay healthy on top of everything I just said so I'm not as bothered by it...downgrade in starting lineup when AP doesn't blow up BUT when he does, you have that potential to put a team away...
