Deal Michael Bush? (WHIR)

Postby toobitter » Tue Oct 19, 2010 5:04 pm

14 team league.

should I try to deal Michael Bush ASAP?

It sounds like McFad will be back this week and I'm worried that after his performance this past weekend, bush could become nothing but a backup in the near future.
RB depth is extremely valuable in this league, so just dealing him for a non RB straight up might be a mistake.
e.g. i could probably get crabtree straight up for him, or perhaps crabtree and mike tolbert (guy's a big raiders fan).
however, with mike wallace back and producing, i've got a pretty solid lineup with wallace in the flex.
if you think i should deal bush, what do you think i should target?

QB - T. Romo
RB - A. Peterson, A. Bradshaw, F. Jackson, M. Bush, L. Betts, D. Brown
WR - M. Austin, W. Welker, M. Wallace, A. Armstrong, D. Heyward-Bey
TE - A. Hernandez
K - R. Gould J. Hanson (dropping tomorrow for waiver claim)
D/ST - Bengals

You're over thinking it. You have very decent WRs, and who's to say Bush loses that much value. He's worth stashing, you'd be making a competing team better and yours wouldnt really be improving. Unless you could get a stud TE, but I'm not even sure if there are any anymore...

Thanks for the help

I'm not all that big on Bush so if you can sell him hight, I say go for another runningback. If you can trade bush for a currently equal running back it will significantly help your depth. I would reccommend going for ricky williams if at all possible. He's an underrated rb who will see a lot of work late in the season when ronnie brown gets hurt.
