Looking ahead to Week 8.... QB Issues WHIR

looking ahead to week 8 and have a QB decision. Flacco on a bye and my choices are Matthew Stafford or Josh Freeman. Stafford would seem to have the most upside, but there is the shoulder to consider. Thoughts on this???

If both were healthy I'd go with Stafford easily, so Freeman might be the safer play right now. The other thing is that Stafford is at home against Washington whereas Freeman is on the road at Arizona. So Stafford should have a much friendlier crowd to deal with. Personally I'd probably gamble with Stafford (and actually hope to pick him up myself next week) since I think he's the better player. I'm guessing the shoulder will be fine by week 8, but keep an eye on his injury and be ready to grab Freeman if needed.

Detroits offense is for real. They aren't, but everyone on that roster is performing well fantasy/production wise. I would say hes a much better play over Freeman, who's more of a safety net and really won't put up legit numbers.

I think that given another week for Johnson to get a little healthier will go along way for Stafford so next week he could look like a world beater. Not to mention that their Defense is bad enough to keep Stafford throwing all day.
