MOJO Trade WHIR!!

Postby SweetLou » Wed Oct 20, 2010 8:32 am

12 team ppr keeper league..
This is my team..
QB - Big Ben, Cutler
RB - MOJO, Jahvid Best, Felix Jones
WR - White, Moss, Fitzgerald

I was just offered Jamaal Charles and Megatron for Mojo and Roddy White.. I tried swapping Moss for White but he wanted White instead.. Any advice here? Tempting because im a big megatron fan and Jamaal Charles has looked much better than MOJO so far but is in a timeshare.. Do I pull the trigger on this?

I'd keep what you've got. Megatron and White won't be too far apart, and MJD is definitely better than Charles.

Sit tight on MOJO...he's the RB in jax and doesn't split too many carries...megatron and white are pretty much equal

This is a tougher call for me because I think that Megatron will benefit from Stafford coming back and I do think there's a gap b/t him and Roddy. I just think you're not getting back enough in the RB dept to trade MJD. See if you can get a little more RB or have him throw in someone with upside and I'd pull the trigger.

Yeah... Going to have to be the minority here and say Megatron>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>White. I love White as a player, he is everything you want on a real football team. In the fantasy world he is awesome too, but he is not Megatron in the fantasy world. Would love to hear the reasoning to some of the White is better and/or equal to Megatron... However, I wouldn't do this as you will want a feature back for MJD. Even thoug i'm not too high on him (recently rejected a trade where i would have gotten him) he is the number one back and not in a time share like Charles. You need to know the RB you are getting back will get 20 or more touches every game.

i would not do this trade...last week it seemed like thomas jones was going to take over completely and i honestly don't think there is a huge gap between megatron and white. your roster after the trade would look worse, in my opinion, because you are loosing too much in the RB department. i would be patient. we are only in week 7 now and things can change significantly. MJD has been getting carries, so it is just a matter of time. i think his schedule looks decent the rest of the season...

I'm not sure I'd do it, but it would be tempting. Megatron with Stafford I think will be right on par with Roddy. MJD hasnt been doing much, and his alure was his TD scoring, which he hasnt been doing this year. Charles, I think everyone here would agree, is a much better back then Thomas Jones and deserves more carries then he's getting. That being said MJD SHOULD be better then Charles the rest of the year, but I'm not sure I'd make any wagers on that, especially with Jacksonvilles lack of offense.

The real disturbing part about MJD is that he's not catching many passes when the Jags are down and throwing, I dont understand why they dont try more little screens or little underneath routes with him to get him in space.

I think I'd concider this trade, but I'm not sure I'd do it, mainly because its a keeper league. If it werent a keeper league, I think I'd do it
