D.Jackson vs A.Johnson with a Keeper twist

Postby thetshell » Wed Oct 20, 2010 8:33 am

Ten team Keeper league with standard Yahoo scoring. We start 3 WR's. I currently have:

R.Wayne (Ind)
D.Jackson (Phl)
M.Floyd (SD)
T.Owens (Cin)
M.Crabtree (SF)
D.Bryant (Dal)

I have been offered A.Johnson(Hou) for my D.Jackson. Normally I'd be all over this trade, but the keeper rules add an interesting twist. To keep D.Jackson I would only lose a 7th round pick in the draft. A.Johnson would cost a 3rd. While I'm not saying a 3rd pick is bad for A.Johnson, a 7th for D.Jackson is an even better value. As a side note, R.Wayne would cost a 1st round pick so isn't really an option to be kept. Trade or pass? Thanks!

Make the trade IMO, Jackson suffered a severe concussion, and he's out for the next two weeks, and you get a top flight receiver for a 3rd, I'd be all over it.
