Really in a bind...Flex Trade ??

Postby openly bay84 » Wed Oct 20, 2010 11:49 am

im 5-1 in my league with a mediocre team at best...

for RB i have foster and mccoy (solid)
WR i have moss fitz driver mike williams (TB)

im being offered mathews for fitz which would be a great flex play seeing my flex rbs are pitiful ie. ricky williams, hightower and the two handcuffs for hou and phi.

should i pull the trigger and hope that mathews is as good as he was said to be in the pre season rankings?

Can't really answer this without more information. E.g., Is this a PPR league? How many players, and what positions do you start each week? Etc.

So you'd move Driver from flex to WR, and put Mathews in your flex?

What gives you more points? Fitz + Driver or Driver + Mathews? I'd rather stick with Fitzgerald. As much as he has to deal with crappy QBs, his role on that team is very clear and he'll end up with 1000 yards. In SD Mathews is still finding his way. He may end up out-producing Fitz, but he's a bigger risk moving forward. Really it's all about what level of risk/reward you are comfortable with.

Please take a look at my trade question:
