I offered this trade... how does it look?

Postby TRSmithV » Wed Oct 20, 2010 2:04 pm

My Ronnie Brown, Torain, and Mike will (TB) for his Mendnehall and Hines Ward.

I obviously like this but Ronnie and Torain both have good/great schedules going forward and Mendenhall has bruised shoulder and talk of lessening his load.

Help me out. A simple do it or dont is fine, but of course reasoning is always appreciated.

Thanks.

14 team league, 1 PPR, and good amount of bench players
Start QB, 3 WR 2 RB, 1 TE, TE/WR/RB, DEF, K
QB - Peyton
WR - Floyd, Santana Moss, Brandon Lloyd, Mike Williams (TB), Deion Branch, Demaryius Thomas
RB - McCoy, Ronnie Brown, Greene, BenJarvus, Fred Jax, Torain
TE - Witten
K - Longwell
DEF - Pit

I would do this without a doubt. You know what your getting w/Mendy (RB on a run heavy team) unlike Torain. Plus Brown still has alot of tuff games and Ward and Wialliams are a wash.

It's great for you. I wouldn't take it if I were him.

Ronnie Brown, IMO, is a roster problem. You can't count on him when you start him, and that means he'll sit a lot, and then there will be a 3 TD week or something and you're pulling your hair out. Hines Ward is great with Icky Rapington back at QB. Torrain is a big question mark... can he be healthy for the rest of the season?

So you're getting a big upgrade IMO at RB on a team that WILL use the guy, and that DOES run for garbage numbers. You're getting what I think WILL be a big upgrade at WR (sort from last week forward when you compare MWil to HWard) and you're getting an open roster spot, and eliminating undue stress.
