Who do you like better for the rest of the season? I'm think Branch is gonna be a steady staple in the Patriots offense, but now with Clark out for however long Pierre may see quite a few more targets..
Any thoughts are greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance! And, leave a link..
Pierre is ready to begin peaking his career, whereas Branch is 5 years past his. Not to mention Garcon's 1st year, last year was almost as good as Branch's best year ever.
Agree Garcon's first real healthy game and he has a hell of a game and they come off the buy and play Hou and they still play Jac and Ten twice all rank in the bottom 5 as far as pass Def. Garcon is going to beast the rest of the year
i guess i am going against the grain here but i am leaning more toward branch. gracon is competing with wayne, collie, clark, all of them are leading the league (or at least in the top 10 or so) even though they are on the same team. on the other hand, randy moss just left NE and branch comes back and first game he is totally in the groove with brady and in sync with the whole offense. who do you think brady is going to throw his touchdowns to, since there is no doubt he is going to throw many...there is not a lot of competition in NE...certainly no other WR has the same amount of chemistry with brady as branch. the bottom line for me is that while garcon is talented, there is just too much competition for receptions in Indy. I like Branch over Garcon.

Great points but Branch is competing with Welker (and I think you are wrong about the chemistry thing Welker has a lot of chemistry and history with Brady), Tate, Woodhead, now Hernandez and the other TE Grodkowski(the touchdown TE) So I think they are probably going to be about Even I just think Indy has the easier Schedule and teams are now going to have to scheme against Branch and Branch has never had over 1000 yard season ever so I think everyone is high on branch right now and he isnt going to be what everyone expects. On the other had Teams arent going to scheme against Garcon becasue they have to worry about Wayne and Clark to much.

First off, Clark looks to be out. Secondly, I think Welker will be a great option for Brady, so will Aaron Hernandez. I like Branch, but I dont think he'll be in the endzone more then Garcon will. Garcon has the big play potential and he may have to contend with Collie and Wayne, but Collie is more of an underneath reciever, and Wayne tends to get lots of coverage. I like Garcon better the rest of the year, I think both will be good, but I like Garcon better.
