I face the exact same decision in my league.

On the one hand -CAR is coming off the bye week. Matt Moore is reinserted at QB and hopefully invigorated after watching from the sidelines a few weeks. Steve Smith is looking like he will play, and CAR is playing a home game vs a SF defense that is not worldbeaters.
All those factors should portend well for D. Will- but they still are an 0-5 team who has had difficulty moving the ball and getting in scoring position period.

M Lynch looks to have some success at home vs an average Cards D- though he is splitting some time with Forsett.
Still Seatlle is the more potent offense (as compared to CAR)- and more viable at home than on the road.

Is your league a TD heavy/Standard scoring league?- If so, I'd give an edge to Lynch.
If it is a PPR/ Yardage freindly league- may give the nod to D Will.

Am interested in seeing what others have to say- but defineitley a tough decision- especially as the role for Lynch unfolds in Seattle at this early stay in his tenure there.

Yeah it's standard scoring no ppr. Very good post!!

Like you said it's tough to know just how many carries lynch will get but that is also the same with Williams. Another thin is sf knows they need to keep on winning.

Any other help??

I think I'd lean towards Lynch here. D-Will hasnt shown much of anything this year. SF is coming of a much needed win and they held Bush out of the endzone, and they held Turner out also. Lynch is playing a Cards D that has given up massive yards to Snelling and Turner, along with DMC, along with the SD backs. They've given up 2 rushing TD's in 2 games this season and have given up at least one in 3 of the 5 games they've played. I think you roll with Lynch here, I dont think Forsett will take many carries from him and I'd bet that Seattle goes up and possibly turns to the run more.
