10yds rush/rec = 1pt, TDs = 6pts, no ppr I need to fill my RB/WR Flex spot. I usually go with a RB but............ Bradshaw @ Dal-may get some decent yards but Jacobs will probably get the TD or Wallace @ Mia-he's usually good for a couple of long receptions and a TD
also should I stick with 49er's D/ST @ Car or try the Chiefs at home vs the Jags or Den vs Oak?
Starters in BOLD QB Roethlisberger, Eli RB Mendy, Turner, Bradshaw, Foster(Bye) WR White, Nicks, Wallace, Wayne(Bye) Flex Bradshaw, or Wallace TE Gonzalez, Miller K Gould Def SF
I'd go with Bradshaw even though Jacobs is most likely to get the TDs. Bradshaw always has the chance to break a big one and get a TD that way. Miami's D isn't that bad/Big Ben might still be a little rusty in getting the ball out to wallace. Plus if Big Ben struggles early, I feel like he will look to play safe and go with his go-to man Hines Ward.
I like Bradshaw this week against a USUALLY porous Dallas run-D --- although they DID show up to stop AP last sunday night. Ahmad is running well, and the Giants' offense as a whole is demonstrating both continuity and chemistry currently, and even Eli has (temporarily, at least) ceased turning the ball over a minimum 2-times each week lol... "Thunder n Lightning" is BACK for the G-Men, while Big Ben still seems busy re-acquainting himself with his old favs Heath Miller and Hines Ward -- of course working Wallace in as well... I just think Bradshaw gets WAAAY more targets/touches than Wallace, so he is your man this week. With regard to D/ST, KC looks like the correct play over San Fran D/ST, based upon the Chiefs' match-up and return game where McCluster is a threat to take it to da' hizzy at any tizzy, you dizzy?
I actually make decisions like this based upon my matchup for the week - if it looks like I'm ahead of my opponent for the week, then I tend to go for the safer bet with more touches, which would be Bradshaw. If it's more of a tossup or I'm behind, I tend to go for the higher upside, which I see as Wallace who looks like he may pick up where he left off with Roethlisberger last year. In a vacuum? I go with Bradshaw based on the touches, plus Jacobs can't vulture all the TDs every week.
I actually like the 49ers a more, the Panthers just look bad, and have been making mistakes all over the place, which usually leads to fantasy gold. Jags make mistakes too, but only if there's a good team that can really capitalize on them, and the Chiefs don't seem that great to me.
Chiefs D could put up 20 points this week against Jags QB Edwards or worse. This is the safest defense of the two and the most upside.
Wallace has the most upside whereas Bradshaw is slightly safer as you know he will get 60-70 rushing atleast, and 10-25 receiving, upside here is a TD at best I think. Wallace could be 100+yds and 1-2 TDs every single week. Ben trusts Wallace as we saw last week, and Romo + Manning will spend alot of time throwing the ball Monday night.
If you need a lock on 8-9pts I'd go Bradshaw. If you wanted the most likely to get you 17+pts go Wallace.
I pretty much agree with some of the previous posters, Bradshaw should give you a reliable 8 - 10 points. He may even score a TD from the edge of the redzone. Wallace has the upside of Big Ben looking for him deep, so he could put up big numbers. Depends on whether or not you want safe points or possible big points.
I would go with KC this week on defense, the Jaguars look completely lost, plus they may be starting their third string QB this week (I think his name is Bouman). KC has a pretty good schedule coming up, starting this week. They should score well.
Exactly the post above Wallace on gets a few balls per game, if you watch the games he isnt in there a whole lot compared to bradshaw but when he gets the ball its for huge yardage all the time, bradshaw is def the safer route..
