In a small 8 team league with fairly large rosters.

Steve Smith (CAR) is on the WW, and with Matt Moore now reclaiming the starting job I'm really wanting to pick him up. But I just don't know who to drop. My thought is Harvin, but return TDs also count for individual players and with the addition of Moss. Harvin is back at playing the slot. My other option is Palmer and just look for a bye week fill-in for Brees in week 10.

this is a very TD heavy league.
6pt=TD.
1pt=20yd rushing/receiving
2pt=150 yd rushing or receiving in a game

WHO SHOULD I DROP? HARVIN, PALMER OR someone else

Dropping harvin is ridiculous. Palmer and Ronnie Brown are better drops.

Also I'd start Pierre Thomas over TJones...

i knew he didn't practice yesterday but I was pretty sure he was slated to come back this week.

Both your DEF have the same BYE week (Week 8) so I would look to drop one of them and acquire WR Steve Smith. QB Palmer is having a few difficulties this year but in Week 10 (Brees BYE week) the Bengals play the Ravens. Unless there are better QB options on the waiver wire I would sit tight with Palmer for now. You'll probably never start WR Smith in your lineup so if Palmer is your choice to drop all you'll be doing is dropping one bench player for another depth-wise.
