Loads of RB options...

Postby organist » Thu Oct 21, 2010 3:53 pm

Hello fokls.

My league counts 1pt per 10yds, and 0.5pt per rec. 6 pt per TD.

I am second guessing myself left right and center regarding whoe to start this week;

WR (pick 2)
Brandon Marshall vs PIT
Miles Austin vs NYG
Danny Woodhead (WR eligible!) vs SD

RB
Jamaal Charles vs JAX
Cedric Benson @ Den
Ryan Mathews vs NE
Michael Bush @ Atl

I was considering playing Woodhead at WR this week, since neither Marshall nor Austin have easy matchups...
I figure on NOT playing Bush, which means Charles + either Benson or Mathews...

Please help and thanks.

Play Marshall and Austin.. no reason to play with fire and try someone like Woodhead, especially when the Pats are known for mixing it up week in and week out.

As for the RB's.. Benson is playing @ ATL, Bush is playing @ DEN. Either way I'd probably go with Charles for sure, he's got the best yard/carry avg in the NFL, and it seems like the Chiefs might actualy have realized that he's a much better back then Jones. Next I'd probably go with Mathews at home against NE, the Chargers play much better at home. Both ATL and NE have pretty good numbers against opposing RB's, but I think with Floyd out and Gates possibly limited, the Chargers might lean heavily on Mathews, who actually has a pretty good yard/carry average also.
