HELP.... Need to start 2 DL...

HELP.... Need to start 2 DL...

Postby lacunacoiler » Sat Oct 23, 2010 3:45 am

So which of these guys would you start:

Dave Ball(TEN) vs PHI => been steadily productive for the last few weeks based on my league settings..
Sedrick Ellis(NO) vs CLE => juicy matchup against a leaky o-line..
Calais Campbell(ARI) @ SEA => so far the breakout candidate havent broke it out..

Chris Clemons(SEA) vs ARI => so far on fire for the last few weeks.. and SEA's D is on fire too..
Richard Seymour(OAK) @ DEN => banged up for the last few weeks, but had a solid game last week...
Barry Cofield(NYG) @DAL => steady source of tackle production makes him worth starting.. but what i needed is big plays to get the huge points..

right now i have campbell, ball, & ellis on my team & i can only pickup 1 between seymour, cofield, & clemons

scoring settings:
1/2 Sack= 2pts
Defensive TD = 8pts
Blocked Punt, PAT or FG = 6pts
INT= 2pts
Fumble Recovered = 2pts
Fumble Forced = 2pts
Safety = 6pts
Assisted Tackles = 0.3pts
Solo Tackles = 1pt
Passes Defensed = 3pts

ANY HELP ARE GREATLY APPRECIATED...

Though it's past the game, Ball & Cofield should be played every week (other than their bye week's of course) as both have been consistent & steady all season and use Clemons as a fill-in.

jmho.....good luck!

Clemons is the best option you have listed there, no doubt, this week against OAK he's a Top 10 play. Oak is 4th in the NFL in sacks allowed per pass attempt. Ball and Ellis post very low tackle totals, and have no history of turning the big plays besides the sacks. Your basically praying for a sack or your getting skunked with just a couple tackles at best by them, very risky guys. Clemons has the best sack rate, more FF's, more of a big play threat.
My second choice would be Seymour. Get Clemons!
