I need an option for WR2 and flex in my 0.5 PPR league. Gore, Bradshaw and Austin are locked in. Here are the options for the remaining two slots:
* SSmith (NYG) @ Dallas. Solid but not spectacular, though he killed the Cowboys last year. * Wallace @ Miami. He can be feast or famine, and I'm trying not to be overly swayed by last week (when he was on my bench), but they do seem to target him on the long ball. * Harvin @ GB. They're getting him the ball, and the Packers don't have a particularly strong pass D, but I don't see him having a monster game. * DeAngelo Williams vs SF. Still waiting for him to break out, but it's not so much that he's looked bad as that the Carolina offense has done nothing. Now Moore's back at QB, and you have to figure the Carolina coaching staff spent the bye week figuring out how to get the ball to one of the best RBs in football. * McFadden @ Denver. Good matchup, but I probably need to see how the share works with Bush before I commit to starting him again.
I would go Wallace for sure. After that it is really a toss up for me. Harvin has been getting more involved in Vikes offense with Moss on board. I might lean towards him with Deangelo and Smith after him.
If i had to pick the 2 id go with would be Wallace and Harvin. With big Ben back i think wallace is a must start every week and the way Harvin has been getting looks the past few weeks i think hes a must start lately too. As a packer fan i know all theyve been talking about is putting woodson on harvin out of the slot but i honestly think tramon williams on the other side is playing better at the corner position right now than woodson so it should be good for harvin. packers are getting some linebackers and d-lineman back but as much as it hurts me to say i think that harvin beats the pack on a few big plays this week. plus you always have the additional special teams aspect for him where he could run one back at any time. Good luck
